Evaluations are scheduled as soon as possible to ensure efficient access to communication and care and are typically booked within two weeks of initial contact. Yes! It is our whole-hearted belief that behaviors stem from limited access to effective reciprocal communication and sensory dysregulation. It has been our experience that when we provide the client with access to an efficient communication system, provide consistent language input on a system that they understand, and effective regulatory strategies, behaviors begin to subside. We have extensive experience working with severe-profound disabilities. Additionally, we practice neuroaffirming therapy and meet every client where they are at. We embrace the intersectionality that shapes each client and encourage developing interests that are unique to each person.
I am happy to share that ABCDE Collective is now accepting certain insurances in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. In Rhode Island, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United, Neighborhood Health Plans of Rhode Island, and RI Medicaid are now accepted. In Massachusetts, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United, and MassHealth are now accepted. Tufts, Harvard Pilgrim, are all in progress for both Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
If these are not your providers, I am happy to provide superbills for your insurance. Although it might initially feel like a big expense, there is no greater investment than your child's ability to communicate effectively and efficiently, and I am confident it will be worth every penny!
